Community Learning Euroa and MACE Mansfield are partnering to deliver free pre-accredited training programs in Euroa, funded by the Adult Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board.
5 session ‘LEAP into your future’ program explores work options in the area, the strengths and interests you bring, and might develop, to pursue the work of your choice and the next steps you might take to achieve success.
Ready 4 Work (preparing for and STEPping into the job of your choice). This course focuses on finding, and preparing for, a job of choice in the Strathbogie Region. The program supports participants to undertake an extensive investigation of one or two areas of work that the participant chooses.
You will learn:
Workplace Skills-includes managing your life, reliability, communication skills, problem solving, teamwork and the use of office technology
Job Preparation skills
Job Hunting Skills - including assistance with preparing your resume and writing job applications.
Techniques for cold calling on employers, accessing the hidden jobs market through creating social networks
Improving interview skills
We will help you develop and improve:
Core skills-Reading Writing Maths
Confidence Skills- build confidence, resilience and connectedness
Work Skills- learn the transferable skills required in many jobs, including digital/computing skills
Career/job management skills- find work, navigate a career, tackle the hidden job market
